ClipCostTracker

ComfyUI GPU cost calculator

Estimate what your AI video renders will cost before you run them. Enter your GPU hourly price, how long one generation takes, and how many generations you plan to make.

Your inputs

Use the hourly rate from your cloud provider or GPU rental listing. Common examples: consumer GPUs around $0.20–$0.60/h, A100 around $1.00–$2.50/h.

This is an estimate based on execution time only. It does not include idle time, storage, or platform fees — and it is not a bill. ClipCost Tracker labels every figure as an estimate for the same reason.

How the math works

total = (seconds per generation × count) ÷ 3600 × hourly price. Straightforward time-based allocation, nothing hidden.

What it does not include

Idle GPU time, storage, network egress, failed retries you re-run manually, and any platform markup. Real production costs are usually higher than a pure execution-time estimate.

Track it automatically

ClipCost Tracker's collector watches your ComfyUI and computes per-job, per-workflow and per-project estimates from real execution events — with budgets and alerts.

Calculator FAQ

How does this calculator estimate ComfyUI render cost?

It uses a time-based formula: total = (seconds per generation × count) ÷ 3600 × your GPU hourly price. You enter the rate from your cloud provider or GPU rental listing, so nothing is guessed.

Is the result an exact bill from my cloud provider?

No. It is an execution-time estimate only. Idle time, storage, network egress and platform fees are not included, so real bills can be higher.

Can I track these costs automatically instead of calculating by hand?

Yes. ClipCost Tracker’s collector watches your ComfyUI jobs and computes per-job, per-workflow and per-project estimates from real execution events, with budgets and alerts.
